Dr Aravind Dasari is an Associate Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has been with this school since 2011.

His team’s research emphasises on the design and development of polymer composites / nanocomposites and coatings thereof for utilisation in construction/building sector, electrical and electronic industries, and renewable energy sector. He has authored / co-authored more than 85 articles in international journals (like Progress in Polymer Science, Macromolecules, Acta Materialia, and Materials Science and Engineering-Reports) along with a couple of books and 9 book chapters.

The impact of this research is reflected in the H-index of 38 (to-date) and resulted in disclosures / licensed technologies in the relevant fields. Aravind has obtained his PhD degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. He has been actively involved in investigative consultancy projects as an ‘Expert’ in the field of fire protection materials and polymers, and others projects over the years.
