With reference to our circular issued on 16 September 2011, the Tenth Edition of the NICE Classification for the purposes of the registration of trade marks will come into effect on 1 January 2012.
The Registry has compiled a list of specific changes which is available in Circular No. 6/2011.

The list of acceptable entries in the Trilateral List under the Memorandum of Cooperation with USPTO, JPO and OHIM is now available on our efiling system of the application to register a trade mark (Form TM4) as well as the Classification Search on eTrademarks Search.

Launch of the Winning Trailers of "The Originals Get Reel Contest"
IPOS unveiled the winning trailers which will now be screened in cinemas islandwide. Held on 12 Jan, the event was graced by Minister Shanmugam, who also presented awards to the top HIP partners of the year.
