Filing & Registration

Our core services include the registration of patents, trade marks, designs and plant varieties in Singapore which are processed by our Registries. Applicants can either file manually or via the various online services that we have developed for your greater convenience.

As Singapore is a contracting state of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), the Madrid Protocol and the Geneva (1999) Act of the Hague Agreement, which are all administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a resident or national of Singapore may file international applications for patents, trade marks or designs through IPOS.

You can visit us at our office during the operating hours stated below to file or register your IP or use our online services

Registry's operating hours :
Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm

Cashier's operating hours :
Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm

All forms pertaining to patents, trade marks, designs and plant varieties are available at the IPOS Counter and downloadable from this website.
