Now we know what Copyrights and Trade Marks are but how do we protect them? Are my school works protected? Can I buy that that cheap mp3 player that looks exactly like the ones featured in magazines? Can I download or share files on the Internet?
Downloads from unauthorized or unlicensed sources also post risks to us, as viruses such as Trojan Horse and spyware can hack into our computers and steal personal information. Pirated softwares are often lower in quality and can be damaging to our VCD/DVD players.
Besides, we know by now that the songs and movies by your favourite artistes are copyright protected too, so what can we do to encourage them to perform more songs and to enjoy the fruits of their labour?
