(An anti-piracy trailer contest)

Since its inaugural launch of the HIP Alliance's first anti-piracy trailer in 2008, calls were made earlier in 2011 for budding film-makers, aged 17-26 years, to create a new trailer encompassing the theme - "Reject Piracy. Champion Creativity."
As part of the HIP Alliance public outreach campaign 2011, The Originals Get Reel saw over 70 quality submissions from members of the public, as well as film students from local tertiary institutions.
Graced by Guest-of-Honour Minister for Law and Foreign Affairs, Mr K. Shanmugam, the launch of the winning trailer on 12 January 2012 at Golden Village Marina, saw Mr Erwin Nah bagging the top prize with his wuxia-inspired film entitled - "The Mortal Enemy".

On his view of IP protection, "It’s definitely important. You need to have some way to protect your livelihood."
Mr Nah's trailer is being screened in all cinema halls islandwide.
