Strategies for Creation, Ownership, Protection and Exploitation of Intellectual Property (SCOPE IP)

SCOPE IP™ is an Intellectual Property Management(IPM) diagnostic tool that helps businesses assess the strengths and weaknesses of their IP deployment and management system. Through SCOPE IP™, companies can better understand their existing IP management status and improve on it based on recommendations provided by the consultants.

SCOPE IP™ is developed by the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore to examine a company’s IP management processes in eight areas of assessment. Consultants who are trained in this methodology will generate a report identifying areas for improvement with strategic growth options for them based on current and future needs of the company. Funding is available for SMEs, under the Intellectual Property Management for SMEs programme to subsidise the cost of hiring a SCOPE IP™ consulting team. For further queries on SCOPE IP™, please email us at: enterprise@ipos.gov.sg
