Intellectual Property Management(IPM) for Local Enterprises

The IPM for SMEs programme is jointly managed by SPRING Singapore and IPOS, is designed for local small and medium enterprises. |

The †IP Management (IPM) for SMEs Programme, jointly managed by SPRING Singapore and IPOS, is designed for local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that want to improve their competitiveness by capitalising on IPM as a strategic tool. The programme will help SMEs to manage the life cycle of their IPs, including its creation, ownership, protection and commercial exploitation.

Funding
Grants are available for both Stage I and Stage II IP Management projects.
The programme is open to companies that:
- Are registered or incorporated in Singapore; AND
- Have at least 30% local shareholding; AND
- Have group annual sales turnover of not more than S$100m*; OR
- Have group employment size of not more than 200 workers*.
Stage I: SCOPE IP™ Diagnostic
- Grant support for consultancy costs for SCOPE IP™ .

Grant support for qualifying costs including but not limited to, manpower, equipment and materials, consultancy and acquisition of intellectual property rights.
IP management capability development projects include, but are not limited to:

* Computed on a group basis i.e. checking up to highest levels for corporate shareholders holding 50% or more of the total shareholding in the company and lowest level down where the company holds more than 50% of the shareholding in a subsidiary company.

The IP for Internationalisation programme is designed for internationalising Singapore-based enterprises.
