The Trading Ideas Symposium, which was held in Sydney in January 2007, was a landmark intellectual property meeting of IP professionals, government policy makers and industry leaders.
The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore will be hosting the second installment of the Trading Ideas Symposium, as part of the APEC Singapore 2009 calendar. This is an APEC-IPEG endorsed project and we are partnered by: Australia, Hong Kong,China, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, United States of America and Vietnam.
Trading Ideas 2009, scheduled on 30 – 31 July 2009 will be held at Furama Riverfront Hotel, Singapore. It aims to continue the tradition of the original Symposium, by facilitating the interaction of influential IP thought leaders from both the private and public sectors. The event this year will focus on IP commercialization for businesses in the APEC region. It will be attended by government officials responsible for promoting innovation and growth in businesses, industry leaders who have utilised IP effectively to grow successful businesses, leading IP Professionals and key World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) officials.
