Accolades Received For IPOS's Guide To Patents Law Amendments 2007

In April 2007, when the Patents Law Amendments came into effect, IPOS's Patent Quality Management Unit (PQMU) prepared a Guide to provide users with an overview of the amendments to the Patents Act and Rules.  This is the first time the Patents Department has embarked on such a task.

Many of the practitioners and patent agents expressed their appreciation to IPOS for coming up with the Guide.  It was generally felt that the tips and FAQs were helpful in answering many of their questions.

Here are what some of them said:
"Just a note to let you know that the Guide you have prepared is very detailed and helpful, and some interesting nuggets of information not previously contained in the Rules can also be found inside".

"Just read your Guide and found it clear and easy to follow".
