Post (2) Director, Strategic Planning & Policy Department
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report to the Director-General and lead the Strategic Planning & Policy Department (SPPD) in charting the strategic directions for IPOS, as well as the role that intellectual property (IP) plays in Singapore's economy. The work will require frequent engagements with the senior management of IPOS, as well as with other Government agencies. The candidate will also oversee the department's work in corporate planning, corporate performance management, as well as various cross-departmental collaborations and projects.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in any field;
- At least 10 years of working experience;
- Work experience related to IP, strategic planning or the public sector would be a bonus;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Facilitation skills would be a bonus;

Post (3) Deputy Director - Legal Policy & International Affairs Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategize, drive, develop, implement and manage IPOS' overall international IP engagement policy and strategies.
- Strategize, drive, develop, implement & manage IP collaboration and cooperation initiatives with International Partners.
- Represent and profile Singapore, and influence IP discussions at regional and international meetings.
- Recommend measures and actions to defend and promote Singapore's IP policy interests in the regional and international arena.
- Build up and mentor an International Relations group within IPOS.
Job Requirements:
- A good honours degree from a recognized university, preferably with a strong focus on International Relations and/or Political Science;
- A minimum of 10 years of working experience in a corporate international setting leading projects and negotiations, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity;
- A strong analytical mind, with relationship-building and project management skills is critical;
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to interact and negotiate in cross-cultural contexts, and operate independently in driving initiatives and programmes;
- Effective writing and oral communications skills in English are essential. Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is preferred. Familiarity with a third language will be an advantage;
- Knowledge of, or having worked in an IP environment and/or international relations setting would be preferred;

Job Responsibilities:
- Review and draft patent related legislation.

- The potential candidate will primarily be responsible for the processing of applications for the registration of Trade Marks and handling of trade mark related matters.

Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, implement and drive-to-closure Intellectual Property Management (IPM) projects.
- Develop strategy and action plans to strengthen and transfer IPM capabilities.
- Implement and maintain IPM processes and best practices.
- Promote and establish IPM community of practice across entire ecosystem.
- Develop and share of IPM processes, best practices and case studies for use in self-help reference and resource.
- Support training, mentoring and coaching of IP and IPM topics.

Job Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
- Promote the value of IP management to SMEs, attend to and vet grant applications, recommend funding quantum and attend SCOPE IP sessions to ensure effective use of the SCOPE IP tool.
- Promote IPM programme through outreach programmes/events with industry associations and/or funding agencies.
- Conduct SCOPE IP training, review SCOPE IP tools/methodology for improvement and manage pool of licensed SCOPE IP consultants.
- Prepare programme’s monthly reports to funding agencies.
- Administer programme, including processing of applications and claim documents, preparing and dispatching Letter of Offers, forwarding the approved applications and claim documents.

Post (9) Director (Finance, Administration & Procurement)
A dynamic and results-oriented leader, you will drive the finance, administration and procurement functions. It would also be an advantage if you possess the corporate planning skill set to plan, match and control the utilisation of resources to support IPOS' organisational goals.
With proven business acumen, you will provide advisory services and collaborate with various business functions to drive strategic initiatives and organisational growth. You are responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting the financial performance and the results of other corporate key performance indicators, to the top management and Board of Directors.
Specifically, you will play a critical role in providing finance, administration and procurement business decision support to IPOS’ management as well as providing leadership and direction to the finance, administration and procurement operations.
Determine and implement IPOS’ financial, administrative and procurement guidelines and policies with the objective to drive value for all stakeholders within statutory laws, government rules & regulations and Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards (SB-FRS).
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
- Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors.
- Develop, implement and maintain accounting, procurement and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and statutory reporting, reviews of fees and charges, budgeting and management reporting and other corporate policies.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing day to day accounting functions in Accounts Payables Section.
- Involve in monthly accounts closing.
- Preparation of monthly reconciliation report.
- Report problems that affect the system performance of the AP module in the Financial System.
- Carry out internal audit of IPOS' Quality Management System in accordance to ISO Requirements.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Director.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or Business with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates with knowledge of SAP would be advantageous;
