The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) launched Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilots with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Japan Patent Office (JPO) in 2009. The purpose of the programme is to share search and examination results between the offices to allow applicants in both countries to obtain corresponding patents faster and more efficiently.

Notice will be published by both offices if there are any adjustments to the pilot programme, or should the PPH pilot programme be terminated.
