PPH (IPOS-USPTO) Extended

Patent Prosecution Highway Pilot Programme between the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore

The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) have launched a Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot. The purpose of the programme is to share search and examination results between the offices to allow applicants in both countries to obtain corresponding patents faster and more efficiently.

We are pleased to announce that the pilot which commenced on 2 February 2009, has been extended.  Notice will be published by both offices if there are any adjustments to the pilot programme.
