The IP Management (IPM) Consultant advises clients on IP protection and maximisation of value from IP assets through the development and/or refinement of IP strategies and policies in alignment with business strategies. The IPM Consultant also identifies prospective IP commercialisation/value creation opportunities in collaboration with IP professionals such as IP Lawyers and Patent Agents/Attorneys.

The Patent Agent/Attorney acts for clients in the drafting and prosecution of patents, and renders advice on the patentability of the inventions. The Patent Agent/Attorney may also conduct patent intelligence and due diligence, advise on the strategies of patent protection and management, and be called upon to give recommendations on strategies to be employed in overseas patent filings.

IP Technology Consultant
The IP Technology Consultant advises clients on the IP protection and exploitation of IP assets, including the analysis of current and new technologies, both locally and abroad in collaboration with IP professionals such as IP Lawyers and Patent Agents/Attorneys. The IP Technology Consultant also plays an advisory role in facilitating the development and/or refinement of IP strategies and policies from a technology perspective to identify the appropriate course of action for commercialization and value creation.

The IP Lawyer advises clients on the management and ownership of trade marks, patents, registered designs and copyright. With their knowledge of IP legislation, the IP Lawyer helps to protect their client’s ideas or products from unauthorized use by third parties and provides counsel on their rights and obligations. In addition, IP Lawyers represents clients in court, develops the appropriate litigation strategies and drafts the necessary documents.
