Setting the standards and transforming IP manpower development in Singapore
Introduction
To forward Singapore’s ambition to be a Global IP Hub of Asia and in line with the IP Hub Master Plan, IPOS has developed the Intellectual Property Competency Framework (IPCF) to serve as a key supporting enabler to build a globally competitive IP workforce that is equipped with specialized IP skill sets and to support continued professional development of IP professionals.
The IPCF provides a clear road map for IP professionals, practitioners and new entrants to chart their IP careers and find out the necessary competencies required in their respective IP job roles. Endorsed and validated by a Steering Committee and Working Committees comprising of key industry players and experts from various sub-sectors, the IPCF is developed by the industry, for the industry.
