IPOS’ efforts in this regard were rewarded when the Trade Mark (TM) Registry was recognised as a leading TM office and ranked 5th in a survey of users of trade mark offices worldwide, according to the May 2010 edition of the Managing Intellectual Property magazine. The survey—which involved over 400 trade mark professionals from 25 countries, including the UK, OHIM, USA, China and Singapore – required participants to rate the performance of their local trade mark office in five key areas, namely efficiency, speed, consistency, costs and quality of service. IPOS was the only Asian office ranked within the top five IP offices globally. IPOS was also singled out for its effective online system.
