• Accelerated Filing with Other International IP offices
IPOS has pursued cooperation initiatives with foreign counterparts to facilitate local entities looking to file for patent protection abroad. IPOS signed Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) agreements with the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the United States Patent & Trade Mark Office (USPTO) in 2009 and subsequently further extended the programme for the benefit of users. IPOS, with its partner IP Offices, continues to refine these initiatives to further enhance their utility.
