The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) was constituted as a self-funding statutory board under the Ministry of Law in April 2001. It is the lead government agency which advises on and administers intellectual property (IP) laws, promotes IP awareness and provides the infrastructure to facilitate the development of IP in Singapore. With IP fast becoming a critical resource in today’s economy, IPOS is committed to maintaining a robust and pro-business IP regime for the protection and commercial exploitation of IP.
