IPOS is the lead government agency that advises on and administers intellectual property (IP) laws, promotes IP awareness and provides the infrastructure to facilitate the development of IP in Singapore. With IP fast becoming a critical resource in today’s new economy, IPOS’s vision is to be a Global IP Hub in Asia.

As IP regulator and policy advisor, we are committed to maintaining a robust and pro-business IP regime for the protection and commercial exploitation of IP. On the policy front, we work with economic agencies and the IP business community to formulate and review IP policies and practices. As a promoter for IP, we have developed programmes that are accessible to the general public and businesses to raise awareness, build capabilities and provide opportunities for IP amongst the various target audience.
Within the organisation, we strive to continually improve service standards and build an innovative and customer-focused corporate culture.
